Disembark at Clarke Quay, a riverside festival village where you will visit a Pewter Gallery to discover the history of pewter and role of tin in the development of Singapore as a trading port. East Coast and Changi The tour begins with a visit to the Malay Village, which showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Malays and relives life in a Malay Kampong in the 50s and 60s.From here, we will proceed to Changi Chapel and Museum to visit the museum and view a replica of the chapel, which was used during World War II. Nothing beats watching a thrilling horse race at Singapore Turf Club.Racing in Singapore has come a long way since it was set up in 1842 by a group of racing enthusiasts. The milestones it has reached through the years have been impressive, culminating in the Club's move to its current state-of-the-art Singapore Racecourse in August 1999. Built at more than $500 million, the 81.2 hectares racecourse has received a Recognition Award from the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects for its "fun and whimsical" design.
